When Fifth Group Restaurants asked to help shape the identity of it’s new Mediterranean restaurant concept, we didn’t just brand a space—we bottled a breeze, translated centuries of culinary diplomacy, and stitched it all into an aesthetic that winks, lingers, and maybe smells faintly of wild sumac. In the vibrant center of Atlanta’s Va-Hi, Ela Mezze + Spirits isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a Mediterranean daydream in edible form. We set out to create a mezze-fueled mirage where chickpeas philosophize and shellfish gets flirty. Each bite is a passport stamp, kissed with the spice of a thousand trade winds, swirling from Morocco’s honeycombed alleyways to the lemon-lit hills of the Levant—and just when you think you've landed, it sends you waltzing backward through time, barefoot, full of wine and questions.

A collection of old and new.

We created a system that allowed for endless variation. An ever-changing logo that would mimic any wandering travelers eclectic collection of memories.

All while pulling typography inspired by the various cultural epicenters of the Mediterranean.
